Match Point

Went to the US Open yesterday for the first time. Attended with friends from work that I really enjoy hanging out with.

It's so New York - everyone has an opinion, the rudeness factor is off the charts, the country club crowd is on equal footing with the rest of us, the prices were outrageous - and there was some amazing tennis.

It is also the largest crowd of people watching television I've ever seen. In bars, on the grass, on benches - TVs everywhere covering the main matches. Very cool. I saw Tim Henman in his last match at the US Open, Jankovic do some classic tennis whining - not to mention Hewitt's form - I'll leave it at that. Great days don't come around all the time - this was one of them. (Thanks CD)
